The Macmillan Information & Support Centre at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead recently celebrated its First Anniversary and has welcomed its 700th visitor.  Since it opened, the centre has provided a vital support service for cancer patients, their families, carers and friends.

The specialist service, a partnership between Queen Victoria Hospital and Macmillan Cancer Support, provides information and support as well as complementary therapies such as Reiki, Acupuncture, Reflexology and Massage outside of the clinical setting.  The centre also recently started offering Welfare Benefits advice.

For further information about these services please telephone

01342 414369 or email cancer.information@qvh.nhs.uk.  The centre is open Mondays to Fridays except bank holidays from 9am to 5pm.  There is also a drop in at the East Grinstead Library every third Monday of the month.

Alternatively, call the Macmillan Support Line free on

08088080000 (Monday to Friday 9am to 8pm) or visit www.macmillan.org.uk
